The home’s traditional character comes through in its soaring ceilings, detailed millwork and, most notably, its beautifully handcrafted staircase and railing. Custom built by the Dallas Watson Flooring team as part of the larger project, the staircase pairs warm hardwood with intricate traditional detailing, creating an architectural centerpiece that connects the home’s levels while carrying the craftsmanship of the floors upward through the space.
Downstairs, the home opens into a spacious, light-filled living area with direct access to the outdoors. The open layout provides plenty of room for gathering, relaxing and moving easily between inside and out, while the warm maple hardwood continues the visual connection to the rest of the home. A dramatic installation of Tempest Blue Polished quartzite, displayed as large-scale art, gives the open space an unexpected focal point and brings the beauty of natural stone beyond its traditional architectural uses.
