The surface was uneven by three inches over a span of 10 feet, significantly impacting the flooring’s stability and aesthetics.
We removed the old floor, installed new joists for stability, and used a self-leveling product to correct the 3-inch difference.

Deep Patch 182 is specifically designed to level deeper slopes in the surface. Moreover, leveling is a crucial step! In fact, even floors ensure the new flooring is visually appealing, safe, and functional.
Additionally, one thing that will make these floors as luxurious as they look is that they will be heated! Consequently, installing a Ditra Heated Floor is a top choice for homeowners looking for comfort and warmth in their space. Ditra is known for its uncoupling and waterproofing properties, which help to prevent cracks in the flooring above.
Finally, for the finish, we glued down 1/4 sawn white oak on top, which is stunning. Furthermore, quarter-sawn wood is highly valued for its stability and unique grain patterns, so it will surely add a touch of elegance to the room.
